Streetwise Spanish Review

People want to learn a different language for lots of different reasons. Most of the time they want to learn so that they will be able to understand people when on vacation, and that's just why I decided that I needed to learn Spanish. I started looking for places to learn, but most of the people said that it would take me a long time. I didn't have time for that, so I started looking at books and audio courses. I came across a Streetwise Spanish review that promised results from using the program.

The creator of the program, Peter Christian, developed it while living in Barcelona. That would probably be the ideal place to learn - you have no choice but to learn if you expect to communicate, and that was probably why Peter Christian was able to pick up the intricacies of the language so quickly. But that doesn't always translate as easily to someone who is sitting on their couch in Manitowoc or Fargo and just thinking about the galleries in Spain. If they aren't actually in Spain, then they might not feel as motivated to learn unless they have a fun and interesting program that can provide fast results, as well as have a good time while learning.

These people, most people I think, need something that's going to hit them a little faster, get them speaking enough that they can get by and do the things they want to do when they're on vacation.

In the Streetwise Spanish review, as well as in the product info, they promise that they will teach you certain things that you should say in order to gain respect of the locals, and that some things that you would learn in a regular introductory to Spanish class are just plain wrong and could get you laughed at or worse. They even promise to teach phrases that will be able to get you a great table in a booked restaurant. I wished that the Streetwise Spanish review I'd read had told me more about what they offer, because in the review the only thing that you got were tidbits to lure you into it.

The problem that I found, which wasn't illustrated in the Streetwise Spanish review that I read, was that the program seemed to deal a lot with slang and street, and terms that I don't think I would use very often given where I was going. Perhaps I should have known from the title! Still, learning to speak how the actual people of the country do is a good thing, and this might be good for some people.

I wasn't ready to give up trying to learn Spanish before the trip, so after reading the Streetwise Spanish review and trying that product, I decided to try Rocket Spanish and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was able to start speaking. Different people learn differently, and this was just the program that helped me the most.
